Our Mission

Our purpose is to help the people of the world live completely free of stress and anxiety, by realizing their True nature. Together we can create a more harmonious world.

Our Philosophy

Meditation is not just about temporary relief, When we find the things that are hidden in our minds and Throw away, we can have true lasting happiness.

Our Origins

Online Meditation Events (OME) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization, born out of our world-wide meditation organization. Our meditation began in 1996 and has grown to 350 centers throughout the world, 40 of which are in the USA.
When the pandemic started in March 2020, our centers around the world began holding online guided meditation classes. Seeing how successful our online guided meditation classes were, we decided to help people deal with any added stress and anxiety by making the best guided meditation classes available online to everyone. We started weekly meditation classes for the public.

Our Growth

People responded well to our online guided meditation classes. After hearing common complaints about problems sleeping, we added Better Sleep meditation classes, which quickly became popular. The pandemic put a big strain on essential workers that were doing necessary work for their communities, so we started Essential Workers Meditation to help them. Older people had anxiety about the isolation and increased danger they faced, so we began Meditation for Older Adults. Then we added Kid’s Meditation to help those growing up during these unusual times. Since people were less physically active at home, we introduced Live Home Workout and Nature’s Flow Yoga.
Online Meditation Events has a staff of 72 volunteers, and growing! Volunteers run all our events and create new ones. We continued to create classes one by one as we say the need. To date, we have conducted over 1,000 classes and served over 6,000 people globally. We hold monthly donation-based retreats and give 50% of the donations to other charities.
Our goal is to make the world a happy and healthy place. And it’s working! Come join us.

Our Approach

Historically, one of the biggest obstacles to overcoming problems in daily life and reaching enlightenment was that the mind could not be defined precisely. This prevented people from discovering who they are and how to find their true mind.
Our meditation method teaches people how to cleanse the mind of the countless thoughts and images that are the roots of stress, anxiety, and so many other problems

Our Strategy

Now, you can know and become the Truth, that previously, you could only read and hear about.
You will know the answers to the basic questions in life: Who am I? Where do I come from? Where do I go when I die? Why do I live? What happens to me when I die?
You will discover the answers to all those questions as you cleanse the falseness in the mind and replace it with true wisdom.

Our Process

This meditation explains that since our birth, with our five senses we have taken pictures of the world. These pictures are stored within our mind and body. They mold our thinking patterns, emotions, reactions, and habitual behaviors. This prevents us from knowing and living as our true nature.
With this meditation method you can cleanse your mind, using a simple, step-by-step guided method that anyone can easily follow. Our 7-step method is so simple that even 8-year-old children and their 80-year-old grandparents can follow it together.
In our mind these pictures hold emotions, thoughts, and attachments to people, places, and things. They create a person's picture world. Through meditation, as you cleanse your mind of these attachments, your mind will become much clearer. After completing just, the first level, you will begin to enlighten to your true mind and begin to see the world in a more positive and joyful way.

Our Approach in Action

An open and big mind can accept and harmonize so we can become oneness. When you become oneness you can help others, you can help the community and you can have harmony with others.
When we throw away the pictures, which is the human mind, we can restart with a fresh and clean new mind. After meditation behavior and action has to change, the more you throw away you will become free, will not have conflicts, you can restart with a clean, new and fresh mind.

Community Service

We are a service-oriented organization, eager to help the local communities of our centers. We have participated in almost every type of community service from food kitchens to beach cleanups and more.
